Entre la tierra y el espíritu

Entre sus animales, las plantas que ella recolectaba 

Me encuentro, encuentro su lugar 

Matria libre para vivir, matria libre para morir

Banderas de mi matria en la combinación de azul y negro. Esta combinación de colores, a diferencia del azul y blanco del estado de Nicaragua,  es la usada por las víctimas en su demanda por la justicia. 

Utilizo la bandera para representar territorios de memoria temporales y portables que puedo mover en mi exilio. Como materiales utilizo fotografías que tomé de mi mamá y su archivo de fotografías.

Flags of my homeland in the combination of blue and black. This color combination, unlike the blue and white of the state of Nicaragua, is the one used by the victims in their demand for justice.

I use the flag to represent temporary and portable territories of memory that I can move around in my exile. As materials, I use photographs I took of my mother and her photo archive.
